ISA
Award (International School Award 2005-06)
Mrs. Revathi Srinivasan – Principal of Smt. Sulochanadevi
Singhania School , and ISA Coordinator.
As an ISA Coordinator the activities were proposed, planned
and executed with her team of 280 staff members with earnest
zeal and enthusiasm.
Each academic year is planned with a theme and all activities
are based on the theme. In April 2005, the themes chosen
were tolerance, World Peace and Bonding. Hence the programmes
were not aimed at the ISA only. All events and activities
were designed to be a part of the curriculum so that the
linkages could be established, which would make learning
not only simple but also meaningful. The international flavour
to each of the activities helped children to know about
people, places and lifestyles. Children also learnt to share
their own experiences with others through talks and presentations.
The whole school was involved in some international activity,
to make the project comprehensive and global.
