ISC / ICSE Lamp Lighting Function

The school follows a unique tradition wherein every staff member adopts one child from Std Xth and std XII for the academic year & acts as his/ her mentor praying and guiding the child as their own through out the year. At the end of the year, the children are given a lamp by the teachers - a guiding light that symbolizes the dispelling of ignorance and awakening of a dazzling future for each of the students. Reminiscent of the Guru-Shishya Tradition, small lamps are given to the students of the ICSE and the ISC and prayers are offered by the teachers and staff to illuminate the very being of the students with the light of knowledge.
