

Maths Day Celebration ...
MATHS is forever an integrated part of life and is also known as the mother of all sciences. In order to celebrate this facet and the anniversary of Srinivasan Ramanujan, one of the most renowned mathematician, the school had taken initiative to celebrate Maths Day on 22nd December, 2011. Through an array of dance, quiz and skit, we celebrated with gusto – the Maths Day. The most interesting part of the program was that it was an entire home-production. The students coordinated brilliantly to put up a dazzling show. One of the most unique parts of the show was the MAGIC SQUARE DANCE. Perfect co-ordination and flawless dancing, combined with the presence of mind of the dancers earned them thunderous applause. The other events of the show were as follows :
- Mental Maths Competition.
- Skit and Poem.
- Maths Quiz.
- Mathematical Rangoli.
- Display of various puzzle.
The idea behind the celebration was to give an opportunity to the students to enhance their numerical and thinking skills. The show ended with an power point presentation displaying the fascinating works of innumerable mathematicians.
