CIVIL DEFENCE ACTIVITIES AT A GLANCE
Sulonia Military School conducted Civil Defences Training with the help of Civil Defence Organisation of Thane.
252 Cadets attended training from Friday to Sunday (4 Sept to 6 Sept' 09) and successfully completed the course.
They were trained in the following subjects:
Air Raid and role of Civil Defence volunteers.
Fires, Firefighting and use of fire extinguishers.
Disaster management
First Aid
Rescue operations.
On 17 Sep 2009 "Rank Giving" function was organized and ranks of Senior Under Officers and Junior Under Officers were awarded at the hands of the Principal, Mrs. Revathi Srinivasan, Mr. Shivajirao Bhagat, Deputy Controller of Civil Defence, Thane, Mr. Murudeshwar, Deputy Chief Warden of Civil defence and Mr. Mandke, Chief Fire Brigade Officer, Thane.
