All India Inter School Drama Festival 2011...
Our school reached the Grand Final Event of All India Inter School Drama Festival 2011 organised in Delhi, jointly by the British Council Library and the Central School of Speech and Drama, University of London, to commemorate Rabindranath Tagore’s 150th birth Anniversary, competing against nearly 75 schools across India. The play ‘The Exchange Programme’ inspired by Tagore’s short story, scripted and staged by our students, ponders on the human nature that contemplates that grass is always greener on the other side till realisation dawns that relationships ordained by God must be cherished and not short changed.
At the final round of the competition, Mrs. Shirley Padmanabhan of our school was adjudged as the ‘Best Teacher- Coordinator’. She, who had directed the venture, will have the privilege of visiting London to attend a week long workshop on Drama
