Soaring higher than the eagle,

Wings taut and outstretched,

Chests swell with pride as

The jet conquers the sky and further.

Armed with a cheerful disposition and a ready smile, she won us over with her undying patriotism that every student wishes to emulate. A short presentation showcasing the journey of the Indian Air Force, right from its conception on 8th October, 1932 to one of the nations most strategically significant organizations, interspersed with bits of trivia, enthralled us. We were informed about the requisites and preparations needed to make it to the IAF. The gruelling interviews and psychological tests conducted bear testimony to the fact that intense dedication and perseverance are the stepping stones to success in this cadre. The high pay package, insurance provisions, security for families and the opportunity to serve the country are, indeed, rolled into the best job one could ever ask for!

Later, Ms. Kaur rewarded the students who gave right answers to her repertoire of questions based on the presentation and general knowledge about IAF. her unwavering passion for her job was evident from the spark in her eyes which ignited a hundred more in our eyes as we avowed to be the torch bearers for Mother India in whatever little way we can!
