“The greatness of the culture can be found in its festivals.”

These festivals help in breaking the monotony of life. They give the chance to celebrate the little and big things in life. And as India is a very cultural and diverse country, so are the festivals. The Std.1 and Std.6 students were delighted to participate in the International project…“Festivals Of India.”

The little sulonians presented the richness of Indian cuisine and the beauty of Indian traditional dresses through the videos.

The dedicated students of Std.6 showcased the wide variety of festivals celebrated in India through various activities and powerpoint presentations.

The activities like chanting of AUM and learning the weekdays in Macedonian language helped the children to develop their interpersonal skills. While children learnt about the different festivals from India and Macedonia, it brought home the message that the joy of celebrating the festivals remains the same around the world.
