School Elections 2011 - 2012 ...
The School Senate Election for the academic session 2011-2012 was conducted efficiently and smoothly in the typical Sulonian fashion, on 14th June, as per the announcement. The Senior Houses and the Junior Houses had different venues so that the event could be held simultaneously in the stipulated time of an hour. The excitement of choosing wisely their leaders was palpable on the students’ faces as they scrutinized the electoral rolls and ticked their choices discreetly. Two boys and two girls candidate were nominated for each of the post of House Prefect, Assistant House Prefect, House Games Prefect and Assistant Games Prefect. A team of appointed teachers began counting the ballot papers and there were hardly any instances of bogus voting. Expert fingers concluded the counting in time such that the list of successful Senate Members were announced on the day itself by our Honourable Principal.
