We are proud to announce that Director - Education & Principal, Revathi Srinivasan, has been awarded one of the most prestigious awards in the field of education, “Leader with a heart in K-12 Education” by India Didactics Association. The IDA Education Awards recognize pioneering initiatives taken by Educational Institutions and Leaders with the focus on factors enhancing the student learning outcomes.
The Award recognizes the efforts of Revathi Srinivasan for incorporating ethics and community service into their student’s programming & curriculum, in a way that has resulted in the students making a significant social impact. She has also created a selfless approach to teaching and learning for both students and the staff, while inculcating in them a process of ethical decision making.

Not only has she developed a pedagogical approach at the school that is holistic & develops the emotional, spiritual, and mental wellbeing of the students but also created an inclusive, diverse, ethical, accessible and a sustainable learning environment.

Revathi Srinivasan, the only Individual Award winner, was awarded at the expo organised by India Didactics Association (IDA), the industry body for education and skill sector in India, supported by the Union Ministry of Education, NITI Aayog, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship and Education World Forum.

The Principal has been bestowed with the following prestigious recognitions :

  1. Selected by Council for assessments and accreditation of schools as an Inspector for schools seeking affiliation across the country on behalf of the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE).
  2. Invited as speaker by the West Lothian Education Council, Scotland, for Innovative Methods in Pre-primary Education in May.
  3. Invited as Speaker to address Schools in South France by the Mayor in June.
  4. Appointed District Commissioner, Thane, for Bharat Scouts and Guides by the State Government for the next three years.
  5. Invited speaker for panel discussion, Kala Akshar, on CNBC TV 18, on improving Study skills.
  6. Invited panelist for discussion, on improving quality in education, Bloomberg TV
  7. Invited as speaker at the National Conference on Social Sensitivity, Mumbai.
  8. Invited as Speaker to address Principals in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and Thane district on ‘Better Classroom management and changing Pedagogy’.
  9. The Principal has also been bestowed with the Best Principal Award in the international category for the sixth time in a row
  10. Published articles by invitation, for Hindustan Times on ‘Changing paradigms in Education’
  11. The school has led International Curriculum Exchange Programmes with schools in UK, Holland, Denmark, France, Germany & Canada. Students and faculty exchanges are regular features of the curriculum programme.
  12. Institutionalized Teaching Learning Process called SPICE in IIM Ahmedabad.
  13. The Principal is nominated as Regional Director for International Cricket by City Montessori School, Lucknow.
  14. The Principal pioneered the starting a new school under the aegis of Singhania School, Thane in Valsad district at Pardi from design to execution.
  15. The school has received ‘Ideal School Award’ from Mahatma Gandhi Rashtra Bhasha Hindi Prachar Sanstha, Pune for its excellent performance in Hindi Language.
  16. The Principal also received certificate from British Council for leading the integration of International dimension in her School.
  17. The Principal was invited to address teachers and provide teacher training programmes. She also conducted a training program for Principals in India and Abroad.
  18. She has been nominated for the prestigious “National Award for teachers 2014-15” by Maharashtra State.
  19. Conceived, adapted and released the musical CD ‘Swaramrit’ – A Collection of Inhouse School prayers.
