All school gates are kept closed during school hours. Parents and visitors are allowed to use only the main gate for entry/exit purposes. No person can enter the school without scrutiny. Below are the processes followed by us, for students, staff, parents and other visitors entering the School.

For Students

  • Daily attendance of students is recorded by the class teachers at the beginning of the day, after lunch breaks and before departure.
  • In case of an early departure, the student is issued a slip, which is to be submitted at the exit gate.
  • Students are allowed to enter/exit only through the main gate/VIP gate.

For Staff

  • A record of all staff reporting on duty is maintained through the Biometrics system, recording both in and out times.
  • Physical and baggage check of all Service staff at all entry and exit points is done.
  • In case of an early departure, the staff is issued a slip, which is to be submitted at the exit gate.

For Parents

  • Parent Pass: Each parent has been issued a Parent pass with photographs and the same needs to be carried while visiting School for any purpose.
  • Visitor Slip: For all visitors, including parents entering the School without prior appointment, a visitor slip is issued to them by the Admin clerk and then only the entry is allowed in the School. The slips with the authority’s signature are submitted at the gate before exit.
  • Parent Appointment Slip: For special meetings other than the PTC (Parent-Teacher Conference), with School teaching staff, a parent appointment slip is issued by the staff, to the parent. The same needs to be shown at the School main gate for entry.

For Visitors

Visitor Slip: For visitors entering the School, a visitor slip is issued to them by the Admin clerk and only then is their entry allowed. The slips with the authority’s signature are submitted at the gate before exit.

The School has 24 Security staff including day and night shifts. The main gate is manned by a minimum of 3 personnel in all the shifts, and the side gates are manned by one security guard each, in all the shifts.

For Students

Students are directed to be in their respective classrooms and movement to any other area should be under the direction and knowledge of their respective class teachers.

For Staff

Access of staff to areas other than their respective work areas is prohibited. Unnecessary movement in any area by unauthorized personnel is totally restricted.

For Parents

  • Parent’s entry is allowed only through the main gate. Once entered, the parents need to wear the visitor ID Card and are given access only to the venue mentioned in the appointment slip or as directed by the Teacher.
  • Unnecessary movements in any other area are totally prohibited.

For Visitors

  • Visitor entry is allowed only through the main gate. Once entered, the visitors need to wear a visitor ID Card and are given access only to the venue mentioned in the appointment slip or as directed by the Teacher.
  • Unnecessary movements in any other area are totally prohibited.
  • The School has 65 CCTV cameras in all critical areas of the premises.
  • Apart from the CCTV cameras that we have at prominent places, additional CCTV cameras will be installed to ensure maximum coverage.
  • CCTV equipment is maintained regularly and it is ensured that the footage is viewed regularly by the Management.

The School Staff is responsible for vigilance, maintenance and upkeep of a safe environment for students and to ensure safety from various risks.

  • Each floor has one-floor peon and one toilet cleaner, per building.
  • There are toilets dedicated to male and female service staff. They are strictly not allowed to use student’s toilets.
  • The service staff has staggering timings for a tea break and lunch break, to ensure that the areas are manned at any point in time.
  • Teacher patrolling is done during arrivals, departures, lunch breaks and transition periods, to reduce student bullying and physical accidents.
  • Movements of students to labs/gym areas/sports areas/auditoriums are supervised by the respective teachers.
  • Canteen services are provided to students of Std I to Std V, in their respective classrooms.
  • The school ensures that no food/material/water etc. is passed on through other students or other parents at the gate, in case students forget to carry any of these. In such situations, students avail school canteen facilities.
  • The school has a Health Care Centre (HCC) to ensure that timely first-aid is given to the students. A trained nurse and a lady service staff are deployed in the HCC for the same. For emergency cases, School has an emergency vehicle facility to rush the student to Hospital.
  • School PTA (Parent-Teacher Association) members provide regular feedback and are in regular touch with the School Management. The suggestions are looked into for necessary action.
  • The School Admin and Management take care of Canteen, Safety, Electricity-related risks, Storage, Gas-related risks, Water-related risks, Fire-related risks, Safety of glass installations, other physical obstructions and structural risks and preparedness for major calamities.
