Monsoon Marvel has been an exciting learning experience for the Sulonians. Students of Std. 1 and Std. 2 showcased an engaging and entertaining event. Students of Std I and II displayed hangings of the common sightings in the monsoon seasons in the corridors of the school making it colourful and lively. They engaged the students in an interactive activity of ‘Mystery Curtain’ where children were asked riddles about rainy creatures and objects. Once they gave the correct answer, their fellow classmate dressed as the object/creature appeared from behind the magical curtain and stated some fun facts about it.
The highlight of their showcase was the experiment on water cycle which was performed by the students under the guidance of their teachers. They even set up stalls with monsoon appropriate clothing and food that served delicious treats. The event was a great opportunity for the students to express their creativity and learn more about the natural phenomenon of rain and its impact on the environment and society. It has been a fun and educational experience for everyone involved.
